Shipping & Delivery
What age range is Movana suitable for?
Designed for children 2–10 years old, with the hanging bar height adjustable as they grow. Always use with adult supervision.
How is this different to a regular playground climbing frame?
Movana is built specifically for indoor use, sized to fit real Australian homes, and designed around Montessori principles — so it's about your child choosing and directing their own movement.
Is this really Montessori-inspired?
We take this one seriously. Maria Montessori wrote that the hand is the instrument of intelligence, and that children build understanding through movement, not sitting still. Climbing, balancing, and reaching are genuinely part of the method for us.
How does movement help with meltdowns or big feelings?
Regular movement helps children regulate their nervous system naturally — many families notice calmer afternoons once it's part of the daily routine.
Is it okay to let my child take physical risks like climbing?
With your supervision, yes — and it's actually a lovely thing to encourage. Safe, controlled risk-taking helps children build real confidence and a true sense of what their body can do.
Will my child actually keep using this, or will it end up ignored after a week?
We designed it to grow alongside your child, so there's always a new challenge as they get stronger and more confident. Most families find it stays a firm favourite rather than a passing novelty.
Do I need to supervise my child while they use it?
Yes, always — it's designed for active play with an adult close by.
What's it made from?
Beautiful birch plywood with a non-toxic, child-safe finish, chosen with little hands in mind.
What are the panel dimensions?
Each panel is 73 × 73cm and 15mm thick, weighing about 1.9kg. The hanging bar and rings together weigh 2.4kg.
How much weight can it hold?
It's built to hold up to 60kg.
What's the difference between the Starter, Growth, and Ultimate sets?
Starter comes with 3 climbing panels, Growth with 6, and Ultimate with 9 — all three include the same adjustable hanging bar and gymnastics rings.
Can I add more panels later if I start with the Starter Set?
At the moment, growing means moving up to a Growth or Ultimate set rather than adding individual panels — we don't offer standalone add-ons just yet.
What walls can it be installed on?
It mounts into timber stud walls (45–60cm spacing, which suits most Australian homes. It's not suitable for hollow walls without anchors, so it's worth checking your wall type before you order.
Is installation difficult?
We've made it as simple as we can — pre-drilled panels, no measuring needed, and a full 12-step assembly manual included. Most families complete it in under 2 hours. Full step-by-step instructions and a video walkthrough are on our Get Started page
PS: Before you drill, we'd always recommend checking your wall for hidden pipes or electrical wiring — if you're ever unsure, it's worth having a tradesperson take a quick look first, just for peace of mind.
What tools will I need?
Just a hammer, drill, and stud finder — the screws, sleeves, and screwdriver are all included in the box.
How do I look after it?
Just a wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a little mild detergent if needed. We'd avoid harsh chemicals or soaking it in water, and
it's worth checking the screws are nice and snug every so often.
Has it been safety tested?
We've taken real care with every detail — every corner and edge is fully rounded, the finish is non-toxic, and it's been tested in the most honest way we know: installed in our own home, used daily by our three-and-a-half-year-old daughter.
How much does shipping cost?
Free shipping Australia-wide, no minimum spend.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
As we're currently taking preorders, your order will ship within 4–6 weeks. Once it's on its way: Metro is 1–5 business days, Outer Metro 1–2, Regional/Country 2–9, and Remote areas 5–10 business days.
Why is there a wait if I preorder?
Each batch is made to order rather than mass-produced and stored in a warehouse — it helps us keep quality high, and means you're not paying for stock sitting around waiting for a buyer.
Do you ship internationally?
At the moment we only ship within Australia.
What if it's not quite right for us?
No trouble at all — you're welcome to return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, and we'll cover the return shipping within Australia too
